3. Anonymous Profile Data (Optional, Not Personal Data)

Our free tools (Common Ground, New Ground, and the built-in self-check quiz) may invite you, after receiving your result, to optionally and anonymously share a small amount of demographic information: your broad geographic region, general job field, and career stage.

This feature is entirely optional. Declining it, or skipping it, does not affect your ability to use any tool.

What we collect, if you choose to participate:

Broad region (e.g. "Singapore", "Other Southeast Asia"), if you choose to share it
General job field (e.g. "HR/People & Talent"), if you choose to share it
Career stage (e.g. "Mid-Career"), if you choose to share it

What we deliberately do not collect alongside this: your name, email address, IP address, device identifier, or any other information that could identify you. This data is not linked to anything you may have separately provided elsewhere on our site, and cannot reasonably be used to identify you as an individual. We treat it as anonymous data, not personal data, and it falls outside the categories of data covered by Sections 1, 2, 4, and 6 of this Policy as a result.

Purpose: we use this anonymous, aggregated data to publish general patterns and insights (for example, in articles, talks, or reports) about how personality type relates to factors like industry or career stage. We only ever publish or act on aggregate figures drawn from a meaningful sample size, never on small groups where an individual response could be inferred.

4. Disclosure of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may disclose personal data to third-party service providers strictly for the purposes of operating our business (for example, website hosting, email, or accounting services), and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their function. We do not disclose personal data to any other third party without your consent, unless required by law.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law (including tax and accounting record-keeping obligations under Singapore law). Anonymous profile data (Section 3) is retained indefinitely in aggregate form, since it cannot be linked back to any individual.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data in our possession from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, or similar risks.

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below. As anonymous profile data (Section 3) is not linked to your identity, we are unable to locate, correct, or delete a specific submission on request, since we have no way of identifying which submission is yours.
